LINDOS EXPRESS

Wij hebben een hele positieve ervaring gehad met Manosgoing. Lindos is heel leuk om eens gezien te hebben. Tijdens de busreis naar het stadje vertelde Manos ons allerlei interessante weetjes over Rhodos en heeft hij ons nog wat tips gegeven om te doen op onze vakantie. Hij lijkt veel plezier te hebben in zijn vak en kent het eiland heel goed, wat hem een leuke reisleider maakt. Hetzelfde valt te zeggen over Gunta, wie samen met Manos de reis begeleidde. Vanwege de coronacrisis was het niet zo druk dus in plaats van met de rode bus te gaan zijn we met een luxe zwart busje gegaan, wat ook een hele leuke plus was! Na aanleiding van deze reis hebben we nog twee andere reizen met Manosgoing geboekt 🙂

Booked a day trip to Lindos through hotel reception, great service, picked up outside hotel and full day trip was very well organised. Lindos is well worth a day out.

We booked for us and our teenage daughter and had a fantastic time from start to finish. We received clear instructions in an email on where the bus would pick us up. Our driver George, was waiting for us right outside the hotel where they said they would, ready to go to the boat. George is very friendly which made the transfer to the boat an enjoyable experience. The boat trip was good, but very sunny so we opted to stay on the lower deck under the shade. On the way to the main town on Symi, we stopped at the Monastery of Archangel Michael. As a reviewer previously mentioned, you will be given a sarong to cover anything revealing. Inside, there is a small chapel and two museums, we loved seeing everything that was exhibited. We were looking to book a trip to Lindos so we used Trip Advisor, after reading about so many positive reviews about Manos Going we decided to book with them. We weren’t disappointed, great service, picked up on time outside our hotel, the bus was air conditioned & very clean & we had plenty of time to explore Lindos. Would highly recommend Manos Going.

We hired Manos for a half-day tour for our family to Lindos. Our guide, Caterina, was amazing. She was very professional and very personable. It was also easy to coordinate with their office from my home in the U.S.. They responded immediately to the inquiries. The mini-bus was new and very comfortable. It turned out our driver was the owner, Manos: a really nice guy. I highly recommend this company.

Had an absolutely fantastic trip to Lindos. The place is stunning. The driver (george) was a very happy,friendly gentlemen, telling us all about different landmarks on the way. And also stopped for scenic photographic opportunities. Would definitely recommend to use this company

Such a nice trip with the nicest crew ever. They did everything they could to make sure we have the best time! Their hospitality, jokes, spirit, and the cleanliness of the boat makes this trip 2000 times better than what it is! Highly recommended

Besöka Lindos tycker jag är ett måste när man besöker Rhodos. Tänk bara på att ett besök på morgonen eller kvällen är att föredra eftersom Lindos är Rhodos varmaste plats.

Nice AC bus met us on time at the meet point. Guide (Marieanne) was extremly knowledgeable/helpful and friendly. George the drive was also very accomodating. Fine day out enjoyed by my family.

We were on this trip today and it was so good! The tour guide marieanna was so nice and extremely knowledgeable on the sights and Rhodes itself. The bus driver yanis was very nice, polite, and chatty, we visited the Kalithea springs first and it was truly beautiful, lovely sight with an interesting history, somewhere I probably wouldn’t have chosen to go , but glad it was included as it was very pretty architecture and interesting history. Second stop was the valley of the butterflies, This was our main reason for the trip and it did not disappoint, the butterflies were beautiful, the valley was very busy, we didn’t make it to the top, but probably about 2/3rds up. Was just amazing to see. Final stop Was mount Filermos, again stunning views from the cross and the side of the mountain, and the peacocks were beautiful and not aggressive! Loved...

We were picked up punctually from our hotel. The driver described things on route and stopped for a short photo stop. Once we arrived he explained where to go and how long it would take. We walked up to the Acropolis which was a long uphill walk and you certainly need sensible shoes as there are slippery areas and some rough terrain when you get there. If you are over 65, take your passport and you can get a reduced entry fee. Views were well worth the walk.

This tour was the best day of our holiday! Everything about it was fantastic. We were very fortunate in that the bus picked us up outside our hotel (we were staying in Sunwing Kallithea), and were warmly welcomed by both the tour guide, and the bus driver. Throughout the entire day, the amazing tour guide lady provided us with lots of amazing information and knowledge of the local area, and the different areas that we were visiting. She was incredibly friendly, and provided honest advise about each sight we visited, for example, she suggested at the butterfly valley to complete the upper valley rather than the lower valley as we were able to see more, and she was correct. All three sights were worth the visit. We had to pay entry for the kallithea springs (2 euros), and the butterfly valley (5 euros), totalling only 7 euros which was fantastic....

An excellent service with clean, air conditioned transports. We took two trips which were arranged by Manos and they went as we hoped. The drivers were excellent and helpful and the days both went exactly as detailed in the brochure. I recommend them without reservation for trips where they just provide the transport. One thing to note is that our buses were very busy and seating is not allocated by ticket. This might worry some people but didn’t affect us on this occasion.

Just completed our 1st trip of 2 with Manos and from start to finish service far exceeded our expectations. Trip to symi island today with punctual pickup and drop off. 2nd trip to lindos later in week, can’t wait. Manos and his staff are a credit.

Transport arrived promptly. Driver pleasant, safe journey and pick up times as stated. I can recommend this company.

Easy to book, great communication, bus on time, nice and clean good a/c. Trip was approx 4 hours long, which is enough to see all the sites. The acropolis isn’t as high as you think – so please walk and don’t use the poor sad looking donkeys, there isn’t any need. Picked up and dropped off right outside our hotel entrance. Great service.

Booked a Lindos express trip with ManosGoing. The busses are new and confortabile and the drivers are very friendly and helpful . Great value for money, thank you Manos Going!

ManosGoing tour company’s full-day trip is the perfect introduction to the island and old town. They pick-up/drop-off at your hotel, which is a special treat, that most companies don’t offer. While they use a bus, it is not a large one, and holds about 25 maximum (17 on our tour), which enhances the experience, making you feel more comfortable. Our guide was superb – friendly, knowledgeable, spoke excellent English. While the portion of the tour that covers the Old Town does not go in the building (Grand Master’s Palace for example), it gives a very good overview and explanation of what life was like when the Templars were there. We had gone into the various building the previous day, and I was a little concerned about visiting again; but, the two really complemented one another. One final note about the quality of this tour company. My wife left her prescription...

We booked two tours with this company, the transfer to Lindos, and a private tour of the countryside with Manos himself. The latter was great value at 50 euros per person, for six people, for a whole day. It cost pretty much the same as a Tui excursion, but we got to decide how long we spent in each location, and as a result got to see lots more of the island. We went up into the mountains, saw all the peacocks, and visited two beautiful ruined castles. We chose to cut the tour a bit short due to two of the group feeling travel sick, but still felt we’d had a great day sightseeing. Booking was easy with good communication. I’d recommend this company as a really good alternative to Tui excursions.

The tour started with a prompt pick up, we were greeted with a friendly smile by Mariana our tour guide. Between destinations she gave us an insightful talk of the highlights of this beautiful island where we learnt more about the history of the places we would visit. Entry to each place was very reasonable coating approx €15-20 per couple for the three stops, and we were able to enjoy each stop with ample time. Our driver Yanis was very pleasant and provided a safe and comfortable journey. Lovely people, fabulous sites to experience. Full of information, history and heart from a true gem of an island. Our interaction has started at the travel agency where we have been kindly and politely greeted by a very pleasant and professional woman who has made us feel welcomed and important. She was very well informed, had great communication skills and a no sale approach (which is always welcomed) and was very easy to talk to which put us at easy. The trip (in my opinion – considering the taxi one way cost €65 from our hotel) was a good value for money. The great service, my absolute satisfaction with this agency however comes from our misfortune. On the way back we missed the bus departure (what can I say, send 2 women into a labyrinth type of shopping mall and this is the outcome ?). We called the agency and they without any hesitation sent a separate mini bus for us – what an upgrade ? Manos (the boss)...

Well organized! Response to email is very quick and pleasant. Booked and paid online for the following day. Driver was very kind and ahead of schedule to pick us up. Prices are very good and kids under 12 go half price. Busses are new, air conditioned and clean. The best on Rhodes!

Wir haben kurzfristig für den nächsten Tag eine Tour mit den drei Highlights “Kallithea, Schmetterlingstal und Filerimos” gebucht. Die Abholung erfolgte pünktlich auf die Minute am Kreuzfahrtterminal. Marianne war super informativ und hat alles im Detail erklärt. Auf dem Rückweg wurden wir in der Stadt rausgelassen, sodass wir diese ebenso erkundigen könnten. Der Anbieter ist empfehlenswert. Der Bus war klimatisiert, wir hatten überall genug Zeit und es handelt sich um keinen Massentourismus. Many thanks to Marianne and the Bus driver

Absolutely the best tour we’ve had on our Greece trip with manosgoing travel agency. Buses were clean, modern and fully air conditioned. Driver was very nice, spoke very good English, courteous, helpful , safe driver and explained the history of various sites we were passing of Rhodes as he was taking us to visit the town of Lindos. Picked us up from our hotel on time and dropped us back as per schedule. Highly recommend to use when at Rhodes. Will use manosgoing again when we come back to this beautiful island.

Wir buchten 3 Tagesausflüge bei Manosgoing (Lindos Express, Top 3 Rhodos und Best of Rhodes) und waren sehr zufrieden. Sehr freundlicher und pünktlicher Service (Abholung und Zurückbringen zum Hotel). Sehr kompetente und geschulte Reiseleitung einen Tag durch Manos selbst und an den beiden anderen Tagen durch Marianna. Beide haben sich viel Mühe mit ihren Gästen gegeben. Marianna spricht nicht deutsch, aber perfektes Englisch. Manos spricht gutes Deutsch und sehr gutes Englisch. Auch Manos’ Ehefrau hat uns bereits im Vorfeld der Buchung sehr freundlich und ausführlich beraten und dazu beigetragen, dass wir ein Willkommens-Gefühl bekamen und wir sehr gerne wieder eine Reise nach Rhodos buchen.
